Bron, Anth, Dave and Peter are in the studio today and it was a bit of a weird start to the day. The weather is ideal and Bron's weather report was better than Anth's Zen verson last week.

Dave told a story about a new initiative in Singapore to prevent unwanted goldfish from being flushed - to set up a great swap meet to try an avoid the porcelin funerals. Peter brought in some sugar free, fat free sharks - don't bother, they tasted like they were made of cartiladge.

A festival to promote sustainable living - The aim was to bring awareness to a range of issues. It is down in Rye on Saturday 20th March (11am to 11pm) with stages, a healing village, along with workshops on belly dancing, drumming, and discussion tents.

A man in a lifeboat with a zebra, hyenas and bengal tigers - And it isn't all over in the first chapter with the tiger eating everything. It is a great book that covers a range of issues around zoos, animal behavior, life at sea in a lifeboat - and it is very very funny. This is David's first marine novel and he loved it.

The book has won a booker prize, was written by Yann Martel and is published by Cannongate. Dave gave it at least 4 out of 5 sea stars.

Ocean outfalls - Are they good or bad - you called in with your ideas.

Sitting on the Pier at Sorrento - feeling wet...The bay is magic, 18 C and the vis is great. Bit lumpy outside the heads.
