Welcome back Anth. On last weeks show Jeff Maynard has decided to single-handedly save the Diving Industry by inspiring people to get back into diving by playing all the 1950's and 60's diving series.

News from South Africa of a Great White shark called Nicole on a 20,000 km trip around the Indian Ocean. The trip was described as a reproductive tour de force "sex tour of Asia" . At times she reached depths of 980m but spent most of her time coasting close to the surface.

Dr Henry Hudson Chairman of Maritime Museums of Victoria will be talking about Maritime history , Past , Present and Future.

There will be lots of highlights , Hon Rod Mc Kenzie who designed the ship Wreck Heritage Act for Victoria, he's also been to Antarctic a couple of times, Professor Western Bate - talking about the tale of two bays -Port Phillip and Westernport Bay.

Vince Ross talking about how local indigenous community used the seas, Interestingly the area around the Heads and the Yarra were part of the direction that Bunjil - the creator - when raveling across the land.

Another talk by Peter Williams about the strong connection with Horatio Nelson interesting as the aniversary of Battle of Trafalgar coming up.

Bob Marmby talking about defenses of Port Phillip and the Shenandoah - the American Confederate ship came in heads, and resulting fortifications improvements,

Brad Duncan who talk about hidden coastal structures around the coast

Dr Leonie Foster talking about shipwrecks and the white Australia policy. When the ship Patrianna came crew into Port Phillip Bay with an foreign crew they were not treated well at all.

What a day-Blowing its rear off . Diving at 2am wet and 14 degrees. Visibility is not good on the Sorrento side.. Even so still better to be in the water than not. Visibility hasn't been good on the Queenscliff side either for 6 about months, dirty because of inlets, not to mention the dredging.. Maybe we could have a dive report off with Alan and Brett from both sides of of the Bay.
