The People of Penguin have continued the dialogue with a pic of their coffee machine, and a big penguin - understandably.

The weather report prompted callers re what is local - Frankston was sunny, Flinders was hailing frozen peas and the weather was described as snuggly. An that was without a contribution from Bron !

Fishcare has 6 groups around the Victorian coast. It is an educational group looking to improve the way fishers interact with the environment, and also to increase the number of people who get an opportunity to fish sustainabily.

Get Hooked is a program designed to work with school kids in 4 sessions. The first session is about knots, the rod and reel and casting. Session 2 is more boring - it is about rules and regulations, snags, what to do when you get a tug and safety around water and sharp objects. Session 3 is about making rigs - a running sinker rig to be specific. They then do a cut an paste of bait to hooks. Session 4 - Go fishing !
