We are back in action in the new studios - Bron is quite pregnant (not enjoying the reflux !) but all are refreshed after the long break. Thanks to all the Broadcasters who filled in while we were off air.

Gay marine news was big over summer - starting with male penguins which have started pretending to females. A German pressure group has successfully stopped the zoo from introducing Females into the male population to allow them to be gay in peace.

Kylie McFarlane joins us to bring us the latest news regarding the Channel Deepening proposal, which is now in the latter stages - industrialists and conservationalists alike are waiting with baited breath to hear the governments decision.

Kylie says it's been a great summer for publicity surrounding the proposal, with a number of public rallies to highlight concern from the public quarter. Such rallies have focused on the use of red clothing - an international distress colour - to signify the dangers associated with going ahead with the project. These dangers are not only toward the environment, but also toward humans, in terms of shipping potential disasters.

The Coalition has been (and will continue to be) out and about, with a giant weedy seadragon highlighting the plight of the bay, raising as much awareness in the community and possible.
