There were 62 greek gods of the sea - They are ranked according to their power and influences. These include:
Delphin (not the home builder) was dolphin related and helps woo Posiden's wife.

Greek Gods are structured like the Public Service with some having superpowers. Your powers are lower the further down the power structure you live.

Ichthies were the two fish that brough Aphroditie to land (after her water birth) and put into the stars as Picies.

Posiden was a bearded older man carrying an trident, and the force behind earthquakes. He is creative - designing all the creatues and is known as moody and umpredicatble. Second only to Zeus in the number of lovers - which have been divided into different classes (and he had a male lover as well) and there are 52 pages of them. That doesn't count the kids !

The Coast to Coast Conference is on now in Melbourne starting Tuesday, May 23rd. C2C aims to bring together a broad group of coastal users including coastal managers, community groups, scientists, developers, indigenous groups to talk about the two big issues for the coasts: Climate Change and Sea Change.
